This switching device is used for the grounding of electric circuits without voltage, in some cases is possible to use them for discharging of capacitors or capacity current of the cable/grid. This devices are intended to use for the MV switchgears cabinets or in MV switching stations. The earthing switch can be either of electric motor drives or hand operated type, with manual actuation of the electrical drives.
