Challenge
The operator of a coal-fired power plant in the Czech Republic required a reliable solution for interconnecting medium-voltage equipment within a technological system. Due to the outdoor installation, emphasis was placed on resistance to weather conditions, safe operation, and long-term reliability of the equipment under both normal and fault conditions.
Our Solution
IVEP supplied an outdoor connection cabinet of type CCO, designed for safe operation in the outdoor environment of a power plant. The cabinet construction was adapted to the demands of power generation applications, including sufficient mechanical strength and electrical robustness.
The equipment was finished in a distinctive yellow color, increasing visibility within the power plant premises and supporting operator safety during operation.
